I have always been interested in people. Therefore, I feel lucky to have found a profession that allows me the privilege of working with people every day. I feel honored that patients welcome me into their lives during times when they may be stuck or struggling. It is a profession full of significance, meaning, and purpose, and I do not take the responsibility lightly. I am invested in continually learning, so that I can offer the most current and effective therapeutic interventions to my patients. After double-majoring in Psychology and Child Development at Tufts University, I entered the Clinical Psychology doctoral program at UT Southwestern Medical Center. During my training, I worked in a variety of outpatient and inpatient settings, working with both children and adults. I also had the opportunity to run many different therapeutic groups, and I was supervised by clinicians who specialize and are passionate about the benefits of group therapy. I then completed my postdoctoral fellowship at Children's Medical Center in Dallas (CMCD) on the Inpatient Eating Disorder Unit. After my fellowship, I became the psychologist overseeing the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for patients with eating disorders. I continued in that role for over four years until the program moved to a different hospital. At that time, I stayed on at CMCD and was the lead psychologist for the general inpatient unit, where I worked with pediatric patients with severe depression and anxiety. In 2016, I founded Worth Therapy, as I saw it as an opportunity to treat a diverse group of patients, blending my past clinical experiences with my current treatment interests.  I am a licensed clinical psychologist, a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), and a Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP).
